Like many of you, I'm sure, you love sewing projects that can be finished in one night. It's such a sense of accomplishment! Before the sun decided to beat us into submission this summer I set out to make everyone in the family a sun hat. I found the Reversible Sun Hat by April Cobb Designs. This is such a quick and easy project! You can also add some ruffles and applique to the hats to make them really stand out! I didn't have time to "flare" up the rest of the hats as the sun was punishing us and we are fair skinned family.
Daddyhat, mamahat, sisterhat and baby brotherhat!
Reversible side!
I also LOVE making doll clothes for my daughter. Although I don't think she appreciates them as much as I do. BUT I played with my Barbies until I was in Gr. 7 so she has many years ahead of her to appreciate my contributions to her dolls closet full of chic/retro/vintage fashions. I found the some tutorials at Craftiness Is Not Optional blog. They are so great and easy!! Perfect for those scraps we all have hanging around!
Happy Thursday everyone!! - Alicia
